Scopelitis Presentations on BIPA + IWPCA at Illinois Trucking Association Meetings

On Thursday, August 17, 2023, Scopelitis Chicago Office Partner Andrew Butcher traveled to Joliet, Ill., to present to the Illinois Trucking Association’s Will County Council Meeting on recent developments and compliance regarding the Biometric Information Protection Act (BIPA) and the Illinois Wage Payment Collection Act (IWPCA). He also discussed how small changes to contract wording can save a trucking company substantial money.

Butcher and fellow Scopelitis Partner Charles Andrewscavage will present How to Fight Back: Defending Against BIPA and Nuclear Verdicts at the upcoming ITA Annual Meeting & Expo on September 19, 2023.
