- Federal and state employment and unemployment tax matters
- Per Diem Expense Reimbursement Programs
- Employee benefits ranging from ERISA, to the Multiemployer Pension Plan Act, and various state laws
- Driver leasing
- Professional employer organizations
He is a frequent speaker at conferences sponsored by the American Trucking Associations (ATA), state trucking associations, NAFC, CLDA, and NAPEO. Pletcher has authored numerous articles on state and federal employment taxation and trucking, per diem expense reimbursement plans, driver leasing and the professional employer organizations industry.
