Update: Delaware Assumed Name Registration Requirement Delayed Until February 2026
Delaware’s new assumed name/DBA registration requirement, which was originally scheduled to take effect on June 2, 2025, has been delayed until February 2, 2026. Any companies with trade names previously registered with a Delaware county must re-register their trade names with the state Division of Revenue beginning on February 2, 2026. The state has not announced the deadline for re-registration.
