Thomas Cochrane practices in the Firm’s class action defense and complex litigation practice area. He has represented logistics industry and gig economy clients in putative class actions, Private Attorney General Act actions, and government enforcement actions alleging violations of California employment laws. He also has extensive experience counseling clients on arbitration matters, including defending the enforcement of arbitration agreements in trial and appellate courts, and advising companies on revisions to their arbitration agreements.

Before joining the Firm, Thomas was an associate at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP. He also represented California governmental agencies in employment suits as a Deputy Attorney General. In law school, Thomas served as Chief Articles Editor of the UCLA Law Review, was a member of the UCLA School of Law Supreme Court Clinic, and was elected to the Order of the Coif.
