Sara M. Butler is a litigator with experience in in the firm’s highway accident, wrongful death, and personal injury defense concentration. Sara also has experience in litigating state and federal appeals, having argued before the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals and the Ohio Court of Appeals. These experiences allow Sara to approach each case with the dual objectives of developing a strong legal position and achieving an efficient resolution on behalf of her clients.

Before joining Scopelitis, Sara spent a year clerking for The Honorable Chris Taylor at the Wisconsin Court of Appeals and two years in private practice, focusing on insurance defense. While in law school, Sara managed the pro bono Veterans’ Law Clinic as the Student Administrator and organized the 2020 Jackie MacCaulay Auction as the Chair for the Women’s Law Student Association.
