Peter Morton’s practice is devoted to serving clients on a wide variety of legal issues directly affecting the transportation industry. He regularly defends motor carriers and insurers in state and federal trial court litigation involving highway accident claims for personal injuries, including catastrophic injuries and wrongful death. He also counsels clients and litigates matters involving business disputes, such as breach of contract, construction disputes, and other commercial transactions. In addition, he defends businesses regarding premises liability and other related personal injury claims. He has defended clients in both jury and bench trials.

He has presented mock jury trials before client and industry groups. While in law school, he served as a Managing Editor of the Indiana Journal of Global Legal Studies, worked as a law clerk for the Monroe County Circuit Court, and interned at the Indiana Supreme Court.
