Mike Kneller’s practice focuses on a wide range of legal and business matters impacting transportation and logistics companies ranging from business model strategy and execution, commercial transactions, including acquisitions and divestitures, corporate governance, public disclosure and corporate communications, regulatory and compliance matters, corporate finance, risk management and corporate sustainability.

Prior to joining the Scopelitis law firm in 2026, Mr. Kneller served for approximately 21 years as the Vice President, General Counsel & Secretary of Landstar System, Inc., one of America’s most respected and successful freight transportation companies. Throughout his tenure with Landstar, Mike was a member of the executive leadership team, a strategic advisor to Landstar’s board and directors and responsible for all legal matters involving the company’s extremely successful agent-based, asset-light transportation model. While with Landstar, Mike also oversaw other departments including human resources, corporate communications and internal audit.

Prior to joining Landstar in 2005, Mike practiced corporate law with Debevoise & Plimpton LLP in New York City and clerked for Chancellor William B. Chandler of the Delaware Court of Chancery.
