Starrett is a trial attorney who devotes his practice to defending transportation clients in catastrophic injury claims. In his 30+ years of experience, he has had over 40 jury trials on behalf of those transportation clients. Starrett has presented at numerous national seminars on topics related to the defense of the transportation industry.
In addition to his extensive trial experience, Starrett is a frequent lecturer before transportation groups throughout the country on issues including:

- Mediation/Settlement strategies
- Preservation of Evidence, Including ECM/EOBR Data
- Emergency Response Protocols
- Defending Traumatic Brain Injury Claims
Starrett has acted as regional and national coordinating counsel for several major U.S. carriers. His work has been recognized by The Best Lawyers in America and Wisconsin Super Lawyers. He has been elected to both the American Board of Trial Attorneys (ABOTA) and the American College of Transportation Attorneys (ACTA).
