Bavleen Seerha is a first year associate. Her practice area focuses on transportation and commercial litigation matters. Her experience includes legal research and writing involving complex civil litigation, class actions, labor and employment issues, and regulatory matters affecting the transportation industry.
Seerha graduated early and summa cum laude from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law after previously earning her Bachelor of Arts, summa cum laude, from Indiana University Indianapolis. She sat for and passed the February bar examination early.
During law school, Seerha was an Articles Editor on the Indiana Law Review, and her Note “Why Miranda Could Follow Dobbs Back to Congress” was published in Volume 59. She externed for judges in both the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana, including a bankruptcy judge for the Northern District of Indiana, the Chief Judge of the Southern District of Indiana, and another district judge in the Southern District of Indiana. Her work included legal research, drafting, and analysis of federal litigation and procedural matters. She also gained in-house and nonprofit experience through internships with Eli Lilly and Company and Lumina Foundation.
