Thomas Schulte’s practice focuses primarily on representing transportation companies throughout the country in trial court litigation involving catastrophic injury, disfigurement, and wrongful death claims, with a particular interest in representing transportation intermediaries. He regularly manages catastrophic losses from the time of the occurrence and investigation up through, including verdicts and post-trail appeals. Mr. Schulte also serves as National Defense Counsel for several motor carriers, brokers, and freight forwarders. His experience includes:
- Coordinating emergency response accident investigation and evidence preservation;
- Engaging in comprehensive pre-suit claim analysis and evaluation of catastrophic injury claims in state and federal trial courts across the country;
- Representing motor carriers in all facets of highway accident claims and lawsuits;
- Representing brokers, freight forwarders, and third-party logistics providers in all facets of highway accident claims and lawsuits;
- Monitoring claims and lawsuits as personal counsel for transportation companies to protect their assets;
- Serving as National Defense Counsel for motor carriers, brokers, freight forwarders, and third-party logistics providers;
- Representing transportation companies in insurance coverage litigation and defense and indemnification obligations arising out of highway accident claims;
- Representing transportation companies in commercial and business disputes
